| Nuts are not allowed in induction. I think the reason is that Atkins wants us to eat veggies and learn how to control our cravings. |

| Nuts seem like an easy snack, but you need to remember two things. One they are not allowed for the first few rungs, and two they are terribly addictive and derail even the most disciplined of Atkineers. |

| You can indeed eat too much on Atkins. You should try to eat to satisfy your hunger, no more no less. Not as easy as it sounds for some. If you're not sure when you're really satisfied then take a break from eating for 20 mins or so and see if you're still hungry then. If you are, eat some more, if not, don't. Kudos to you for your marathons and for your intention to start running again soon!
