Default nice to meet you!

Hi!

I am Ran. It is nice to be here and I am looking forward to meeting you all!

For years I have just let myself go. I am ready to take control of my life again and become the healthy person that I desire to be. I am a 34 year old female. I am 5 foot 7 inches tall and I am sure that I am pushing 250 pounds. I haven't weighed for 2 months so I'm sure I'm close to that.

Well, I guess that I will go for now.

Nice to meet you!

Welcome to the site. It didn't say if you had actually started the diet or not. Just wanted to suggest that you weigh and measure yourself before you so that you have a starting point from which to gage your successes you will have. Good luck.

Hi CeeMarie!
I have not started yet. I have the book and I am reading it. I plan on starting the induction this weekend after I go grocery shopping. I plan on taking my measurements and I will weigh if I can get to someones house with a scale. I don't own a scale.

by the way, what is your favorite induction food?

Thank you, sallyseachange!!! I am really excited about the new chapter in my life I am getting ready to begin! I'm just kind of nervous about the induction flu. Is it really that bad?

For me, induction flu wasn't that bad... I felt a little foggy and headachy and without much energy for three or four days, but nothing dramatic. I think it's like that for most people, but some get hit worse than others. Probably depends on your metabolism and how carb addicted you were.

Don't worry though, those days pass in a flash and you'll find you feel really good afterwards. It's so worth sticking with it through those days.

I should also say that there are some lucky people who don't get it at all!
