| i think that if you are insulin dependent diabetic you should definitely discuss this with your doctor. maybe test ur blood sugar levels before workouts to make sure it is in the acceptable level??

| Chicklady, I've been on the diet for 20 days. Jasmine, you're right.....I think my blood sugar levels have been steadily dropping, especially during exercise, so that can be the reason for weak muscles. I'll have to talk to the doc about it. Good news, blood sugars went way out of whack during the holidays, reaching closer to 300, but tonight, it was 79. I'm taking lower insulin doses every few days. Odd thing, I only lost 5 lbs, and the weight is not budging, despite working out and not cheating. Thanks for your input!! |
