Hey everyone, I am new here. Today is my second day doing Atkins. Today I woke up very sick feeling. Not sure if it's related to this or not or if I just have a cold/flu bug. Anyone else gotten sick on this? I have a very sore throat and stuffy nose. Also aches and pains everywhere?

Anyway, enough complaining. I have also implemented a work out schedule. For someone who has been very lazy for a long time its been trying. I do kickboxing 3 times a week for an hour at a time in a class. I am doing cardio the other 4 days and adding yoga and pilates (alternating) on the other 4 days as well. I am looking to lose 40 lbs.

Welcome to ADBB, Melissa!

Some people do get what is referred to as Induction Flu (the aches and pains), but I'm not aware of it causing a sore throat and stuffy nose. Poor you ! I hope you feel better soon.

You are off to a GREAT START ~ especially with your exercise plan. You can do it!
