| Most of the first 5 pounds are water. Almost ALL of any additional weight that you will lose will be fat. The opposite will happen from time to time as well. Remember this moment when you wake up and you have gained 4 pounds (TOM). Keep salt to a minimum and drink lots of water. This will help fight water retention. Congrats on becoming a fat-burning machine! Good luck!

| it is most defnitly water and probably a lil fat, maybe u ate somthing just b4 weighing yourself the 1st time? or it could just be the water and weight loss haha remeber to drink !!! (water i mean) |

| Welcome aboard!! Yep you can loose a lot of water to start off with, your weight will fluctuate a lot on a day to day basis, just don't take it all to heart and remember to get measurements, cause some weeks you may not loose weight but you have lost inches, it is good to know this so you don't get discouraged when the scales don't tip the way you like them to.
