| Welcome! I'm 41 and have 3 girls as well. This way of eating would be a lot easier if the children weren't a factor, that's for sure. But, ya know what, they catch on. While I haven't explained all the ins and outs, my 12 year old and 9 year old know I don't eat sugar or bread. Once they know, they start holding you to it. I've not eaten birthday cake and everyone lived to tell about it. Commit. By not telling them, you have an "out." If your oldest daughter knew what you were doing, she would keep you honest. I look forward to updates to see how you're doing. Congratulations on the 10 pounds of weight loss!

| Well even when you tell the kids and friends sometimes they are not helpful, not having a great will power doesn't help much either but here is to hoping you let the cat out of the bag and the kids will see how much more fun Mom will be as a thinner more active Mom and help you out. Congrats on those 10 lbs and here's to 10 more!!

Thanks! So why your nickname? Do you have a blueberry farm? That is gonna be a struggle this next summer. We have a blueberry farm 2 miles down the road. Each year I go pick (and eat) loads of blueberries and make all sorts of blueberry goodies from jams to pakcakes, etc. My family will expect it me to do my usual blueberry stuff and will probably be disappointed if I don't, but wow will that take willpower to just eat a few... |

| Hi Wormbutt, Great start to your journey! Wow!10lbs already! Great job! That's cool that you used to be an EMT/FF. bet that comes in handy with kids huh? I'm a nurse and I think it helped raising my 2 kids. (18 & 20 now.) So how did you get YOUR nickname? Keep up the good job you are doing. liz |

| Hello and welcome to ADBB. I had two babies (girls) close together too - 18 months apart. I didn't drop the pregnancy weight between the pregnancies and piled on the pounds with the second pregnancy. I finally feel like it's time to get my body fit and slim and don't plan to have any more children so no time like the present! Good luck xx |
