Newbie in Ghana, West Africa

Hi, my name is Kinna. I'm new to the board but not to Atkins. I tried Atkins some years ago when I lived in New York. Anyway, I'm back on it as it is really the only eating plan that has worked for me in the past. I really have to lost about 100lbs. But I'm taking it nice and slow. My goal is to lose 50lbs this year. I started Induction on Jan 21 so I'm just about getting to the end of the first week.

It is a bit challenging to do Atkins in Ghana, West Africa since carbs are such a mainstay of our traditional cuisine but I'm determined to do it anyway.

Working towards a year of great change in my life.
