Default new to atkins and new to here! Also a question.

Hi my name is Michelle, I am on atkins for the second time, last time I wasn't as rigid but still felt I followed all the set rules, I never a lost more than a few measly pounds after 3 months. Now I have read this book and this is the third day on induction, My concerns are, being hungry after 7 pm, can you eat or no? Also what is this fat ratio in these other threads I have read, 65/30/05. They were closed and I couldn't ask. Can someone tell me how much meat I can have in a day? I eat meat all day for breakfast, lunch dinner, like yesterday I had a chicken thigh for breakfast, a salad at lunch, no dressing, but put cut up chicken on it, then I Had 2 more thighs at dinner with a quarter cup cooked green beans and mushrooms. They are relativley small thighs, not those huge ones out there. In the Atkins book it says eat as much protien as you need to without being stuffed. Well I can tell you, I am definatly not stuffed, and with no coffee, juice or snack food it hard not to eat extra meat, I also wonder about cheese. I really want to do this right. It took me along time of suffering, 4 years after the last attempt to get serious again, my reason being the way I felt and saw myself. If I can feel better and move better, things will be better. If anyone can help me I would be ecstatic! I really am looking forward to being invoved this time and finding out all I can, but I just have to get used to this site and how it operates. Thanks and look forward to any advice and help.

I am 190 pounds at 5 '4', I should be around 125 to 135, but I would like just to be me and happy!

One of the things you don't want to be on Atkins is hungry as that defeats the whole purpose of this diet. While I don't think your whole meal should be just meat, eating it with a bit of carbs and some fat would be ideal.
Check out the recipe section for snack ideas as they are not a no no on Atkins.
