| Hi Lingiet ![]() I am also a new member here, but no stranger to low carb weight loss. I am just taking it more seriously now because I am finally treated for an underactive thyroid condition. In addition to liv's advice, I would add a caution about tomatoes and onions. I love them, but I need to limit those because of the natural sugar content in them. They are allowed for induction, but can throw a monkey wrench in the weight loss for me if I am not very careful with them. I had to finally face the fact cream, while allowed, also needs to be limited. In small quantities, the carbs are negligible, but there is a point where the carb content does add up as well as the calories. Don't let all this discourage you, though. It takes awhile to get it right sometimes. I know I have had blind spots (as well as some stubborn streaks) and I have seen posts from many others admitting same. You did the right thing by asking. As you can see, the experienced members here are really quick about finding the issues with a food list. Good for you for wanting to get this going right. |
