| Welcome to the board and congratulations for the 2 lbs lost! Did you decide when you are going to start the actual induction? I am not sure what exactly you are eating at the moment, but it gets much easier once you are in ketosis (which is the main purpose of induction). See you around the board!

| well I haven't got to that bit of the book yet - still ploughing through from start to finish. Breakfast was grilled tomato, grilled haloumi cheese, then chicken and bacon salad for lunch and dinner will be chilli with veggies. Snacks are ham and cheese and a bit of pate. I am still getting the hang of this way of eating, so I am glad I found this forum - just need to time get perusing! |

| Welcome Anna B, glad you found us and joined. Your menu sounds fine, We limit our veggies to 2-3 cups and our cheese to 3-4 oz. Induction is pretty simple, which is why I love Atkins |

| annab, you will have a much greater chance of success since you are reading the book and understand all the why's and how's of how it works. If your chili has beans or starch in it, it's not induction-legal, but you will find that out when you get to the acceptable foods list! I'm looking forward to following your long-term success because you are building on a firm foundation! Welcome and good luck! |
