I just found this forum and thought I'd join in. Not my first time doing LC, but the plan is to never ever stray again. I found myself in a place I never want to see again (over 300), had to go on blood pressure and blood sugar meds, and I finally said enough. I know the right thing to do, just do it for crying out loud. I noticed scanning the titles of many of your intro's that a lot of you are feeling scared. I felt that too when I started because I've failed at this before. Knowing what other people must think when they see you shrink 80lbs only to watch as I blimped out again. The difference this time is going to be forums like this!! I finally feel like I can get the support I need by having friends that are going through the same things I am. I hope we can all do this together.

I'm glad that you've found us.

We'd be very pleased to travel the journey with you. I didn't have this board on my first Atkins attempt, but I've had it since the beginnng of my restart in Feb '07, and it has made all of the difference in the world.

Yes, the board does make all the difference. Especially when you run into stalls or "can't look at another egg," or "I'm going to a shower -- what do I eat" moments. There is always someone to check your menus, encourage you to hold on a little longer, and suggest recipes and new food ideas when the menu gets boring.
