Good job! That's the way to do it! You can do anything if you break it up into small chunks. Instead of getting up and saying I will do this for 14 days straight, say I can and will do this just for today. I can do anything for one day/24 hours. Then, tomorrow, get up and start your new day/24 hour period with the same positive attitude. You'll be surprised how fast the days will fly by.

hi bearycute - you are doing great! Take it one day at a time and incorporate the healthy foods you're eating into your kids lives...that way during the day they will be eating the same as you. My husband and mother eat some of the same foods I eat but most nights we have different meals. After the first couple days it hasn't bothered me to sit at the table with them. The food they eat doesn't taste right to me because my palate has been cleansed now. My husband likes to pass his food around so everyone can "taste" it...he's finally got it through his head that I don't care to taste what he's eating...the way I did that was I told him he had to taste what I was eating first (he's very picky) now he doesn't try to tempt me anymore!

Write down at night what you'll eat for each meal the next day and stick to it -- that helps! Also, drink AT LEAST 64 oz of water everyday - that is vital! Just as vital as exercising everyday. Check the challenge area for exercises you can join to keep yourself accountable.

Good luck on your journey -- YOU CAN DO THIS!!! We're all here to help you.

We are all pulling for you. Keep in mind that none of the foods you look at are going to disappear from planet Earth in the next two weeks (or two years for that matter). Don't look at it as two weeks. Look at it as RIGHT NOW. RIGHT NOW I CAN FIGHT THIS TEMPTATION. RIGHT NOW I CAN MAKE SURE I MAKE IT THRU THE AFTERNOON WITHOUT CHEATING. After a couple of days of RIGHT NOW, it becomes I'VE GOTTEN THIS FAR...I CAN KEEP GOING. Eventually, it becomes THIS IS HOW I EAT.

I know how you feel. my husband and i lost weight together when i was on this before, but now he doesn't want anything to do with it. and my daughter is only 3, so she has food in the house that is healthy for her, but still loaded with carbs. so i am going to have constant temptation! i thought about stocking my own cabinet or section in the fridge with special low carb treats that i can have when i'm tempted by other things. or everytime i resist a certain temptation, treating myself to a movie or buying myself something special. maybe those things will work for you! i hope so! you can do it!
