| Cate, try it for two weeks. Get past the discomfort of induction and see how much you have lost and how much better you feel. If you can bite the bullet and do that, I think your motivation problems will be well on the way to being cured. And believe me, you are not alone in not wanting friends who haven't seen you in a while to see you at your heaviest. But you can change that! So glad you joined us. |

| Don't wait for the motivativation to come and find you! Go ahead and start and go out looking for the motivation. If you re-read your own post, you have plenty of motivation right there. I promise you will feel better and will have more motivation if you just start and take it just one day at a time. Don't look at the big picture. You can do anything for 24 hours. Keep coming here for support and motivation.

| Cate -- Happy Birthday a few days late and welcome to ADBB! This is the best place you can be to achieve your goals. Remember, we are all here for the same purpose, we are all overweight (or have been overweight and are now at our goal weight) and we understand what you are going through. There is nothing to be ashamed of here, you are among friends. There are challenges to join, pictures to look at, success stories to inspire and friends to meet. Good luck on your journey. If you need to talk or have questions feel free to ask!

| Welcome to the board! Motivation can be tough. We all understand that. Have you checked out the before and after pics and some of the success stories? The Celebration Forum is a great place to hang out and just read. When you share in the success of others, it's easier to see your own dreams as well. Come back and post soon! |
