Me again

Hi. I"m Melissa. I'm 38 and live in Central NY. I've joined this board a couple of times and fell off the wagon pretty quickly. This time, I'm here to stay!
My hubby is trying to lose 20lbs so he's doing it with me. I have 100lbs to lose. It's much easier with him doing it so we don't have to cook 3 meals (one for each of us and one for the kids). I've been on induction for 2.5 weeks and I'm down 14lbs. I can't say that's it's been entirely a squeaky clean induction, but I'm working hard at making it that! I think it's mainly that I've been 'unsure' if something is induction friendly and we've been in a pinch, so I ate it I'm learing that being well stocked in advanced makes all the difference!
I'm so inspired by all the sucess and motivation this board brings! I can't wait to get to know many of you.

Welcome back, Melissa! And congrats on your loss so far! That's great!!!

It's nice that your dh is doing Atkins with you because his support will be invaluable to you.

Do you have the 2002 edition of the Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution? It's the one we use here on the board and it will clear up any doubts you have on what to eat and what not to eat.

Welcome back Melly. Looks like you will be crashing through to the 2s soon. Keep focused on doing things correctly, rather than the numbers on the scale and you will be fine.
