| Welcome to the Board, Erica. You don't have a lot to lose, so the weight will come off quite slow. From what we have seen on this board, during Induction most members lose 5-10% of the weight they need to lose. You should also not compare your current weight loss rate with the weight loss rate you had seen years ago, because there are a lot of changes happening to our bodies as we age. How far into Induction are you?

| Thanks so much for you replies. I haven't really started the induction phase yet. I have cut out a lot of carbs but I don't think its enough yet. I am lost. I also work graveyard. Does that have anything to do with the way I eat as far as the weight loss goes? It seems alot harder this time around versus a few years back when I was on a normal schedule. |

| What is harder? Sticking to it? I suggest doing the induction the right way. It can make it easier to just cut to the chase and do it strictly. Once you get into ketosis it may become easier for you to stick to the diet.

| Yes it is hard for me to stay strict this time around. I don't know why. I think I need to stop with all of the excuses and just do it already! |
