| Welcome back. Hopefully we can both drop down to our goal weight before the end of the year. What is your biggest challenge with Atkins? Mine is my mind. I don't actually crave anything but my mind wants a piece of this and that....so I must conquer the beast!!

| Welcome back Marci and welcome to you also Spoons!! I hope you both have the DANDR 2002 book and have read it, if not you can get a copy fairly inexpensively on www.Amazon.com. There are a few wonderful recipe sites that will help keep you from getting bored with the same old meals -- make sure you are looking at induction friendly meals until you are ready to move up the rungs and even then it doesn't hurt to have those meals! Make sure you are only eating food on the list of acceptable foods - if it's not on the list it doesn't go in your mouth! Good luck to both of you. | Thank you, Carole. I appreciate the info. I haven't read the book yet. I am going to snag my friends copy....she's pregnant so she offered it up until she is ready to do it again. I understand the induction phase and have found some great info on the first rung once I get there. I should have the book finished by then so I can use that info to keep going. I am trying to get pregnant and the Dr said he encourages me to lose weight and Atkins is ok for now but once I am pregnant he said I need to lay off the percentages a little. Does anyone know about Atkins and pregnancy? I am not there yet but hope to be by the end of the summer.
