| Welcome back, Rhiannon! Congratulations on quitting smoking! That's a major accomplishment! Your weight loss will probably be slower with the hypothyroid condition (I think I have it, too) but the weight does come off. Just commit to Atkins as a way of life and don't worry about how long it takes. The health benefits begin almost immediately. Also, don't stay on induction too long. Climb the rungs, but climb them slowly if you are hypothyroid. The additional foods you can add allows you to eat gourmet meals which are more satisfying and delicious than those I ate before Atkins. So glad you have a supportive hubby. |

| Welcome back, Rhiannon! I'm glad you've re-joined and you already know what a great diet this is, so you should have much trouble getting back to where you want to be. You're right about it never being too late to start over because most of us here have done just that, and we've learn that this is the only way that works for us. See you around! |
