| Thanks, JulieB! So far, I've done good, and haven't had any cravings, but I don't expect it to stay that way for long. I conquered my first challenge today at lunch. We went out for a coworker's birthday and I had a salad which was served with garlic bread. I passed it off as soon as I saw it, as hard as that was to do, but I was very proud of myself for having done it! I'm looking forward to diving in here and getting some good tips and support especially. Thanks again! |

| Hiya Spellchick and welcome aboard! Nice to have you here with us. Hopefully you won't fall foul of induction flu, but if you do... hang in there... it's normal. Soon you'll feel wonderful and energised. Keep us posted. We're all in this together!

| Hi Spellchick, The only advise I would give you is make sure you get the new revolution atkins diet book, it's different than the original. Its been pretty easy following this because I have been planning my meals and make 3 or 4 different snack packs! They are key. When ever I have a mild crave, I just eat a snack, or down a buuunnnnnccchhh of water. It's great you have a partner to go on the journey with! Good Luck!

So far, I have been OK, but I've been drinking about 100 oz of water a day too so that helps keep me feeling full. I've also had a cold since last Saturday and that's reduced my appetite. I've never been happier to have a cold than I am right now! |
