Default Just getting started

Hi everyone,

I started Atkins 2 months ago when my husband was diagnosed as pre-diabetic. My chiropractor/acupuncturist is a huge supporter of the no sugar/low carb lifestyle and guided us to Atkins.

After years of yo-yo dieting, I can honestly say I'm feeling better than I have in years.

Looking forward to all the support and great ideas this board can give!

welcome get the 2002 DANDR book and read it so you know the facts and the science behind the program. Make sure you are only eating foods on the acceptable foods list and are not eating the bars or shakes.

Drink at least 64 ounces of pure water everyday (more is better) and get some form of exercise.
