| welcome - you are in the right place. We are all here for the same reason, so the support here is wonderful. If you follow the plan as it is written you will do fine -- give the first 2 weeks your all - you're cravings will go away and you'll feel so much better. Drink plenty of water, only eat foods on the acceptable food list and exercise - once you put those things together you'll do fine. Here are some links that will help -- get and read the 2002 Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution book - it will explain a lot of things to you that will help you stay on track. | thanks guys for the inspirations. i have tried this diet before and lost 27 lbs in less than 2 months, unfortunately i didn't stick with it and gained all back plus 20 lbs. i have purchased the book and plan on re-reading it. Will definitely check out all the links you supplied. thanks again
