Welcome to the board, dgenx! I'm glad you found us. I don't know much about kilos so maybe one of our English members could help with that.

That's about 190 pounds. Are you male or female? My son is about 190 and 5ft 10inches and he is about a 38/40 waist so I guess that's about right because he feels he could lose about 25 (approx 11 kg) pounds to be at goal.

You are right there. I work out regularly with weights and have a lot of muscle so my goal weight is actually likely to be on the upper limit of the "normal" range for my height. But it looks like your waist is about what you might expect for your height and weight. I expect you would be a 34/36 inch waist if you lose 12 kg.

Ditto what Jill said. I'm an inch taller than you, but I'm not targeting intentionally lower than BMI 25 because that's really skinny for me. I think those "healthy" BMI numbers are for folks without muscles (toothpicks).

| Since we are all individuals it is hard to live by a number someone came up with, I have always felt how you feel is much more important than a number the insurance companies have come up with....so if you feel good at a BMI of 23.5 or even 25 then that would be "goal" in my mind....if you feel better at 22 then that would be your goal. Good luck to you
