Default Hello! Just looking for like-minded positive people on here

Hi!

I started atkins about a month ago. I never thought that it would be this easy to lose weight. Not only do I want to do this just to get the weight off, I actually want to make it a lifestyle change because it's not hard! I just began the OWL phase because I noticed that my weight loss had slowed down even though I'm in ketosis. I'm just wondering...how long is this going to last? Will the weight slowly come off?

welcome to adbb! you have a great mindset in thinking this is a life change and not just a quick fix.
ketosis will last for some time providing you stick to the plan. ketosis will actually last till you stop losing but you won't always see the color purple. at about 50 grams of carbs, the ketostix will stop changing color however this does not mean that you are stalled or have stopped losing. it only means that the weight loss has slowed and this is okay, it's what is suppose to happen.
it is true that the closer you get to your desired weight, you goal per se, the losses will slow.

Ditto what Jimmie wrote. The weight will come off. Sometimes faster, sometimes slower... but it will come off.
