| hi and welcome Perla. We are about the same age so I wanted to let you know it is possible to loose on this plan and after a few weeks it becomes so easy to eat healthy food you won't believe it! there are plenty of challenges you can join - some are exercise challenges some aren't -- it's a great way to stay accountable to yourself and to meet great friends. make sure you are drinking at least 64 ounces of pure water everyday and do some type of exercise to help tone your body. If you ever need anything all you have to do is ask!

| Welcome to the board, Perla! I'm a lot older than you and it works for me too! Just drink your water, eat your veggies, get some exercise and keep those carbs low and you will do fine! |

| Thanks for your encuragements and welcome's. i'm not much of a writer, but i want to share that i have now read the 'book' & also that i have reached my first goal, I have lost 10% of my start wieght (10kgs thats about 22 pounds i think) started on a BMI of 38.7 7 weeks ago and are now at 34.8. |
