| Sassy where I live there is a walking club. Have you checked community boards and stuff. There may be something going on where you can join. Don't give up - you will find someone.

| Hey Liv.. How have you been? Looks like you're doing pretty good.. and way to go on that 5K jog ![]() I hadn't thought of the walking clubs.. I'm not sure how to find them, but I will give it a try. With my work schedule, it may be hard to make something like that work though? That's why I figured if I could find one buddy, then it would be easier for us to blend our schedules. Thank you for the idea. Sassy

| Do you have a local community centre or anything? We used to have a running group out of ours, and you just had to show up on a Monday Wednesday or a Friday for someone to run with. If you don't have anything like that, maybe you could start one?

| So far I have not had much luck in finding a group.. there is a seniors group that welcomes anyone lol.. but I think I'll pass on that.. ![]() Hopefully I'll connect with one soon or find a buddy to walk with.. Sassy

| I live in Abbotsford, BC....what a small world hey? Here's a little bit about what I've been doing Before and during - From 400 lbs. to 247 lbs. Not done yet!!! Talk with you soon, Sarina ------------------- Heaviest weight - 403 lbs. (2007) April 1, 2008 - 387 lbs. (This is when I initially started to lose weight…but was not on Atkins at this point) Atkins start weight – 347 lbs. (July 19, 2008 – began Atkins) 1st major goal met -----100 lbs. lost as of Oct 2, 2008 - Hit 300 lbs. on this day – From April 1-08 when I initially begin to lose weight. 2nd major goal met - 151 lbs. lost as of Jan 13, 2009 - Hit 249 lbs. on this day. 3rd major goal met - Wed, May 13-09 - Reached losing 200 lbs. in just over a year and a couple of months. Current weight – 203 lbs. Goal weight - 150 – 160 |

| Awweee thanks so much! I needed to hear that. I'm getting very anxious wanting to hit onederland.....on my doctor's scales I already have but on my scales at home I'm still 4 lbs away!!!!! My scales weight 6 lbs. heavier than my doctors....pretty strange hey?!?!?!? I'm glad it's that way and not the other way around where his scales weigh more than mine! So I guess technically I have hit onederland but I'm not declaring it till my scales say so LOL! I just want to be so much closer to my goal but this will take some more time indeed....patience is a virtue....one that I still lack in. Btw....I responded to your pm...we'll set up a time where we can get together and walk...I think it's awesome we live in the same town and have discovered each other on this board!!!! Amazing!
