Hey i'm back for another got at this

i started the Atkins in January of 2008 and by September of 2008 i had lost 101 pounds and felt great. we has some issues down here in Texas with Hurricane Ike and i fell off the wagon. I'm a stress eater.
anyway i gained about half of that back BUT i am starting back tomorrow.

just wanted to commit to myself and i'll keep y'all posted.

Hi, Daymon!

We're almost "neighbors", so I can understand the hurricane stress. The season officially begins in 10 days, and in my neighborhood we've still got a great many houses with tarps because their roof issues haven't been addressed yet. And just a few houses down, they have finally poured the foundation to re-build a house that was completely spilt in half by a fallen tree. And it's that time again! Hopefully we'll have a calm season this year.

I'm happy that you have found us - this place is great! Stick close, and post often. You'll get hooked (in a good way).

Welcome to the board Daymon! I just wanted to wish you luck with your weight loss journey and commend you for jumping back on the wagon! I just started atkins last month and Im loving it! Well I hope mother nature bares easy on the gulf this year; although I live in NC and that will mean its coming here! lol

thank you goodbyefat27. and the best of luck to you as well. i know the system works and i have had great success. i slipped up and made some bad choices with my diet and exercise and as i was told it would creap back up on me.
stick with as you are doing now and i am certain you will reach all you goals and feel great. you already look incredible.

Awww ty Daymon! Although I think otherwise I will not argue! I know how that always ends up with men. Im gonna be a low carber the rest of my life. I honestly have never felt better; I cant get over how much energy I have had! I dont even find the diet a struggle, which is scary in itself! Im on day 32 (cheat free I might add) and today I had a clinical rotation and the instructor put a huge box of cheese biscuits on the table in front of me; usually I would be salivating!!! Well today it didnt even phase me; I was so proud of myself! Well good luck to ya and make sure to take your measurements in case you experience some stalls. That way you wont get discouraged! Well Im here if ya need support on your journey; I know its the only way I get through!
