| So Far so good. I am a little dizzy and have a slight headache. Other than that it is not so bad. There seems to be a lot of food choices, I think the only mistake I made was buying the shakes and some bars. I've heard conflicting reports on that. |

| You may be entering ketosis. I tried to time my transition to the weekend so I could just pamper myself when the induction flue happened. Bars and shakes are iffy for sure. Keep them around for emergencies only.

| Yea, I heard about the bars to. I chew gum to getmy mind off of food when i'm hungry. I go for Orbitz cause it's only got 1 carb. I think it's a good way to help. I hope this works for you to. |

| eeeeew stay away from the gum... it will mess it up! Go for any meat left overs, around the third or fourth day you will have a happier feeling, it just goes along with it. You will start to feel less hungry because those fat cells are tapped into (ketosis) and just being used up constantly! Really neat! Eat meat when ever you are hungry, just some, it doesn't have to be alot. Cook some small meatballs, keep them in a zip lock in the frig. nuke a couple to heat them up and snack on those as you need them between meals, boiled eggs are good too. That will help with the headache too. Last edited by blondegypsy; May 28th, 2009 at 06:09 PM. |

| Yep, the gum keeps you wanting that sweet taste. Better to totally give it up and retrain your taste buds of you can. |

| don't waste your carbs chewing gum - chew something that will keep you happy and full longer -- the gum just keeps you wanting something sweet....take some celery sticks, radish slices, green onions wrapped in meat & cream cheese -- these will all keep you from getting hungry inbetween meals and won't keep you wanting sweets.
