I'm ready now...

I'm excited to be here. It's my second time around. I followed Atkins 6 years ago and reached goal and stayed there for a few years. Life threw a few hard knocks my way (both of my sisters were diagnosed and died of cancer recently) so I have not been taking care of myself at all but instead focussed on them and helping them through to the end of their life.

Through this all, we've just completed a huge kitchen renovation, so instead of putting all of the old non-atkins food back in the cupboard, I went out and replaced it all with the good stuff. I'm ready to go!

So glad to see this board is still not supporting any of the Frankenfoods and keeping it clean! This is why I love it here!

I lost my mother this last year to cancer so I know the pain that comes with that sort of loss, and also the relief of a loved one no longer hurting. I applaud your strength of character for staying and taking care of them and also for returning to Atkins and taking care of YOU!
