| if you are serious about loosing your weight this is such a great way to live. Give it more than 2 weeks and you'll see how wonderful you feel. You need the book to do the plan right. It might be better if you aren't going to keep up with this WOE during your vacation that you just wait until you get back so you can do it right. You say what you ate for dinner last night -- what have you eaten today? If you are hungry you should go eat something legal.....you should never be hungry during induction. As far as recipes we have them...lots of them! Rules of Induction: (What are the Rules of Induction?)http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ead.php?t=6782 (What are the Rules of Induction?) Track NET CARBS daily … and also use the journal, for your daily moods, etc….it’s a great tool to help you. Drink a minimum of 64 ounces of water each day, including: Filtered water Mineral water Spring water Tap water Good luck

| thanks! yea I don't want to wait until after vacation because if I can pull it off for 10 days straight I might just find that it works and will continue to work on it during vacation, but I don't want to think so much of getting to day 14, just trying to live day by day I had eggs and lettuce, and cheese, and not too much of a cook so going to buy some stuff bulk at costco. i suppose it's safe to stick with what I have in my fridge and stay away from temptations of going out. I really wanna get through today though and exercise sounds exhausting which this is becoming too much complaining, so just going to get it done. 10 days and if I can make it til then I might as well just stick with it. what does it matter to eat something if it's just an instant gratification of 10 minutes right? |

| The first few days are the worst, then you start to get a lot of energy and feel better. Don't worry about eating too much fat the first week. You need to keep yourself satiated while your body switches gears and begins producing keytones. One thing to keep in mind--if you go off while on vacation, you will have to go through this yucky, tired, crummy period all over again when you come home. |
