I own a young friesian gelding that I will start to ride next year. It would be much better for both of us if I lose 30 pounds.

Also, I am giving myself a goal of losing 20 lbs by Oct. 19. I am going scuba diving in the Solomon Islands and want to be fit - and fit in my wetsuit.

I will start riding my young gelding next year - and losing 30 lbs would do us both a world of good.

I am also travelling to the Solomon Islands for a diving trip and would love to feel fit for that.

I have read the book and am correcting a few errors. Wish me luck. This is the first diet I have ever attempted.

Lots of luck, I am just joining today too. I used to have a beautiful Palomino Appendix Gelding but I got too fat so I got a bigger horse LOL - an equally awesome PercheronX Spotted Blanked Appaloosa. Freisians are just the most beautiful horses around and your boy is lucky to have you! I've lost 40 lbs since those days and the Appy is in retirement but I'm giving Atkins a go to lose that last 30 lbs that I've never been able to lose & more importantly to change my eating habits for life.
