| You should move on to OWL (ongoing weight loss). You have 28 pounds to go -- if you stay on extended induction another month and a half or longer you won't have enough time to go through the rungs and add foods back before you are at your goal. The first rung is adding 5 additional net carbs of veggies back to your food -- the second is dairy, third, nuts, etc. You add 1 new type of food back on each rung...you will continue to loose as long as you follow the rungs the way they are written. You might stop loosing if you continue on extended induction with such a small amount of weight left to loose. Here is the link for OWL Ongoing Weight Loss (OWL) - Atkins Diet Hope you will consider it.

| I definitely will! Thanks for the input! I really didn't even consider it until now just because I love the way I am eating and I really am not missing the carbs! My family is all really prone to diabetes and we really respond to this WOE when it is done right...I guess I will brush up on OWL and start adding in those nuts...I do love them. I would love having more veggies in my diet too! Thanks for planting the seed so I can keep staying healthy (which is my main goal...not weight loss.) |

| Hi Leah, OWL will really teach many things about what triggers you and the whole juggling act that becomes maintenance so I am glad you have decided to move on. |
