| Welcome back. Sounds like you need it. And yes it helps to be wiser. We have a couple of "clubs" here you may want to check out. There is the Second Time Around Club (a forum) And the Century Club (a forum for those with more than 100 lb to lose) They have be of special help to you. You have very good motivation there. I did not know there was a Atkins twitter chat. Anybody particular "running" that? Glad you figured out what your problem was and that things are going better.

| Hi and welcome back: At the top of the induction page you’ll find a condensed version of the book - (Atkins Diet Induction FAQs)http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-diet-14-day-induction/77558-atkins-diet-induction-faqs.html. Make a copy of this list (What foods can be eaten on Induction?)http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-low-carb-dieting-faqs/6781-what-foods-can-eaten-induction.html - take it with you when you go to the store. If a food isn’t listed on the acceptable food list don’t eat it. Learn to read the label on all foods you buy - don’t just look at the “carb” number look at the ingredients list of everything and check the ingredients against your list. Just because it says "low carb" doesn't mean you can eat it. Also check for hidden sugars (learn the names used in place of the word “sugar”). The recipe sites are a helpful meal planning tool – just make sure you use Induction Recipes to begin with. I would go back and read about cheese and candida in the Atkins book. So, you may still need to take probiotics to cure the candida. In a few months you will probably be able to handle the cheese. I am NOT a doctor, but, I went through a major illness and my immune system was compromised during and after. Candida was one of the things I needed to deal with to lose weight successfully. I still take probiotics for my health. Of course, you should run everything by your doctors! Hugs,

And I just love your "take me to your litre"! LOL! Hi SweetCher - Thank you so much for the warm support and greeting! You are absolutely right, I do have a lot to smile about. It's funny you mention candida, because that is what motivated me to try Atkins back in 2003, and though it's not as obvious, you're right, after the health issues I've been through, I'm sure it's not gone or well-controlled anymore! I will look into the probiotics. Thanks so much for the suggestion! I appreciate the greeting and support from you all, and look forward to checking out all the fantastic information here!
