Caelene is on a distinguished road
Talking Hello! :)

Hello everyone!
I'm Caelene, or Caela, and this is the first time I will be starting Atkins, along with my fiance Trevor. I've heard about this diet before, but I just haven't had the motivation to start until now that our wedding is coming up soon in January. I am 26 years old, 5'2" and 171 pounds. After I started college I just kept gaining and gaining. =( I know a good portion of that extra weight is right there in my hips and thighs so I'm ready to slim down now! I've never had a membership to any gym either, but just today I am proud to say that both myself and Trevor are now signed up! Good luck to everyone and looking forward to chatting with you all!

Congratulations! It's a great diet - you'll never be hungry at the very least It's great you can do it with your other half, that's so helpful and I hope you have great results.

Congrats on both of you starting -- it is easier when you have someone to help, and much easier cooking!

I hope you have read the 2002 DANDR book and have foods of the acceptable food list in the house. Make sure you are drinking a minimum of 64 ounces of pure water, exercise is mandatory so get started, and take a no iron multivitamin daily. Eat until you aren't hungry (not stuffed). Good luck to you.
