Default Not niftey at 56

This is my second attempt at Atkins diet...The first time was about 7 years ago, when I lost 100 lbs...I was Nifty at 50...well I'm about 50 lbs up, and its time to start again.
I quit smoking 10 months ago, and cut back coffee to less than a cup a day. I rejoined curves after not going for 3 years.
I'm not sure if this is the same board I used 7 years ago, but I found this one and ready to get posting.

BTW "50" is only a number, we can overcome that.

Hi and welcome back to Atkins Sandy --

Regardless of what you did before, or what people are doing now, your body is different than anyone so it’s best not to compare what happened before or what's happening with others. There are a lot of us over 50 who are slowly but surely loosing what life has thrust upon us. Look around and find what interests you and join in. Check the STAC Second Time Around Club - Atkins Diet for additional support.

The plan works when you follow it the way it was written -- hopefully you already have the 2002 DANDR book and have read it. If not it's worth a few dollars to purchase one (with shipping mine was about $5.00 on www.amazon.com – or try www.half.com). Get enough pure water in daily (64oz is recommended), exercise and take a non-iron multivitamin.

The recipe sites will help keep you from eating the same thing over and over -- check them out! Don't forget to eat enough vegetables (check the acceptable food list (What foods can be eaten on Induction?)(What foods can be eaten on Induction?)http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-low-carb-dieting-faqs/6781-what-foods-can-eaten-induction.html) - 2 cups from the first list and 1 cup from the 2nd list daily.
