Hi,

My name is Renee. I live in NJ. I began Atkins (this time) on January 1st, 2009. I lost 20 lbs by April. Since then I haven't been very good about adhering to this WOL. Mainly because I get lazy or lose motivation. But I do realize this is how I feel best and eventually will look best. Here are my stats:

Gender: F
Age: 42
Height: 5' 2"
Begin Weight: 202 lbs
Current Weight: 188 lbs
Goal: 125 lbs
Mini Goal: 182 lbs

Hi and welcome back to Atkins Renee --

Regardless of what you did before, or what people are doing now, your body is different than anyone so it’s best not to compare what happened before or what's happening with others. Look around and find what interests you and join in. Check the STAC Second Time Around Club - Atkins Diet for additional support.

The plan works when you follow it the way it was written -- hopefully you already have the 2002 DANDR book and have read it. If not it's worth a few dollars to purchase one on www.amazon.com – or try www.half.com. Get enough pure water in daily (64oz is recommended), exercise and take a non-iron multivitamin.

The recipe sites will help keep you from eating the same thing over and over -- check them out! Don't forget to eat enough vegetables (check the acceptable food list (What foods can be eaten on Induction?)(What foods can be eaten on Induction?)http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-low-carb-dieting-faqs/6781-what-foods-can-eaten-induction.html) - 2 cups from the first list and 1 cup from the 2nd list daily.
