| Hi and welcome back to Atkins -- First things first -- no excuses! You are worth being healthy - the way Atkins makes you feel is worth it - just get on plan and do it!! Regardless of what you did before, or what people are doing now, your body is different than anyone so it’s best not to compare - just follow the plan. Look around and find what interests you and join in. Check the STAC Second Time Around Club - Atkins Diet for additional support. I hope you already have the 2002 DANDR book and have read it, it is the edition we follow on this site. If not it's worth a few dollars to purchase. Get enough pure water in daily (64oz is recommended), exercise and take a non-iron multivitamin. The recipe sites will help keep you from eating the same thing over and over -- check them out! | Thank you everyone! yes I have the 2002 book and the via nutrient book which I found VERY interesting as well! I'm on day five cheat free, and feeling great. My washing machine broke down and I was so stressed came up to the kitchen started opening cupboards and then realized THIS is what gets you, AND walked away realizing I'm more important than the washer! I really feel like this time I'm on the road to success!! |

| Good for you! I am in the same boat and it definitely takes conscious decision making to retrain our awful old habits. I am back doing a clean Induction myself after a month of half-hearted effort. Sounds like you are really focused this time. Glad to hear it. |
