| The best way to get into ketosis is to do Induction by the book. Eat your veggies, drink a lot of water, limit your cheeses, do not use the bars and shakes (they seem to stop a lot of folks cold) and commit to doing this cleanly for the full two weeks. Since you do not have a lot to lose, I would go directly from there to the Ongoing Weight Loss section. Your goal is reasonable but keep in mind that if you return to your old habits, the weight will come back-and quickly. |

| It is the equivalent size of eight fluid ounces. Assuming you don't have massive hands, a fist size is about right or a wee bit over since you are a guy. I would say if you are referring to veggies its more important to count the carbs and not the cups since veggie and lettuce counts vary. Many of use fitday.com to help keep track. |
