| An Italian girl from Bayonne. A Yankees fan too I bet. OK snacks for you-cheese, roasted eggplant and tomatoes and peppers, artichoke hearts, olives, salamis (not too much), deviled eggs, I also take slices of American or Swiss and cut them into quarters and microwave them into golden brown "cheesits" when I want crunch. Peppers/celery/cucumber stix with a cream cheese or sour cream based dip. Bagna cauda with veggies. Smoked salmon and cream cheese rollups. Dessert once you get to rung 2 - Just make your own favorite NY cheesecake with Splenda and no crust. It works fine. But I usually use about 1/2 the Splenda as I would use sugar because it seems to be more intense. (Taste the batter to test for sweetness and stop a little on the less sweet side. Baking intensifies it too.) Panna cotta is fine for induction if you use Splenda. Pasta is tough. I bake spaghetti squash and used it like pasta but it isn't quite the same. Lots of times I will make an eggplant parm (no breading) or an eggplant and ground beef lasagna, or eggplant rollatini (also rung 2) for me while they eat pasta. Osso bucco is usually OK too if you don't thicken it with flour. Welcome to ADBB and wishing you success for your wedding dress. |

| That was the last version by Dr Robert Atkins. He continued to work to make the plan easier and safer to follow and maintain as a long term lifestyle. The 2002 version is the last book completely written by the good doctor. |

| Hi Luna -- Make sure you get enough pure water in daily (64oz is recommended), exercise and take a non-iron multivitamin. The new challenges will be starting in the next few days -- check them out and join a couple that interest you. Don't forget to eat enough vegetables (check the acceptable food list (What foods can be eaten on Induction?)(What foods can be eaten on Induction?)http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-low-carb-dieting-faqs/6781-what-foods-can-eaten-induction.html) - 2 cups from the first list and 1 cup from the 2nd list daily. Rules of Induction: (What are the Rules of Induction?)http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...induction.html (What are the Rules of Induction?) Jill gave you a lot of great ideas for meals already but the recipe sites will help keep you from eating the same thing over and over -- check them out!
