| I'm glad that you've decided to give Atkins another try, Sammi. Have you tried one of those filtering pitchers or other type of filter to remove any taste that your water might have? They really help. |

| You definately have your hands full with 7 young ones. I have five chidren myself, but my youngest is 7 and they are spread out a bit more in ages. But what I have found helpful in sticking to plan is planning meals that everyone can eat together minus a high carb side that the kids usually eat. We still have hot dogs, I just have mine without the bun and a side salad whereas they might have beans and chips. Same with burgers. For the nights that the kiddos want something that I just can't eat like spaghetti, hamburger helper or chicken nuggets, I always keep a container of pressed ground beef burgers or a bag of frozen scallops or something else that I like, so I can quickly throw me something in a skillet while their dinner is cooking as well. Being prepared is the main thing when you have a family you have to feed as well. I've also found the pre-mixed salad bags to be a life saver when trying to feed a hungry crew. I can complete my meal at the same time as theirs without any real effort. As for water, there is something about it the more you drink it the better it tastes and the more you want it. So even if you don't like it, get your favorite beverage (for me its iced tea) and a glass of water at the same time. Tell yourself for every taste of your fav, you have to take 5 sips (or gulps) of the water. Before long you will find that you are wanting the water over the other beverage and you'll down a coulpe of glasses to one glass of your other beverage. I usually have one glass of iced tea now and about 100 ounces of water using this trick. Good luck!!!!! |

| Seven. That is wonderful. I am smiling just thinking about it. Keep on working on that water. Small sips are good. All day. Have some water bottles out at convenient places for you and grab a chug now and then. Stay nice and clean on induction to help things get off to a good start. Good luck and thanks for posting again

| You have me beat in the children department. My hubby and I have 6 all together. Ours go from 20 to 8. 4 boys, 2 girls. Sometimes it can be hard being a Mom. But I'm sure when they are grown we will look back and wonder where the time went. I just wanted to say Good Luck on Induction. |

| Welcome! It does take some getting use to when changing over to water. I tried Atkins once drinking diet coke and the same thing happened to me. The only time I've had success is when drinking water.

| Make sure you eat the foods on the acceptable food list, drink your water this time (nothing added, like I said before), exercise and take a vitamin everyday. Good luck to you this time!
