| Welcome to the Atkins Board Shy!! I hope you already have the 2002 DANDR book and have read it, it is the edition we follow on this site. If not it's worth a few dollars to purchase. Drink a minimum 64 ounces of pure water daily, exercise and take a non-iron multivitamin. The new challenges are starting for the month -- check them out and join a couple that interest you. Just remember we are all in the same boat -- we're all here to loose excess weight, we're all busy people and have busy lives but we find a few minutes a day to help each other out! Don't forget to eat enough vegetables (check the acceptable food list (What foods can be eaten on Induction?)(What foods can be eaten on Induction?)http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-low-carb-dieting-faqs/6781-what-foods-can-eaten-induction.html) - 2 cups from the first list and 1 cup from the 2nd list daily. Rules of Induction: (What are the Rules of Induction?)http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...induction.html (What are the Rules of Induction?) The recipe sites will help keep you from eating the same thing over and over -- check them out! Good luck.

| Welcome, shy. Read the forums (especially the Induction forum) and the book and learn as much as you can before you begin. Do come often to post. It's nice to have another Atkineer in a similar time zone. |

| Welcome to the ADBB, shy! I can't imagine pulling up stakes and moving to Australia so I applaud your courage! Anyone who can do that, can do Atkins too because it takes that same sense of adventure. Good luck to you! |
