| Welcome to the Atkins Board. I hope you already have the 2002 DANDR book and have read it, it is the edition we follow on this site. If not it's worth a few dollars to purchase. Drink a minimum 64 ounces of pure water daily, exercise and take a non-iron multivitamin. The new challenges are starting for the month -- check them out and join a couple that interest you. You shouldn't be hungry - if you are eat something -- have some type of protein dipped in mayo or have some cream cheese wrapped inside some ham or turkey. Wrap a dill pickle in meat with cream cheese, something....when you read the book you'll see where it says you shouldn't be hungry. Don't forget to eat enough vegetables (check the acceptable food list (What foods can be eaten on Induction?)(What foods can be eaten on Induction?)http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-low-carb-dieting-faqs/6781-what-foods-can-eaten-induction.html) - 2 cups from the first list and 1 cup from the 2nd list daily. Rules of Induction: (What are the Rules of Induction?)http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...induction.html (What are the Rules of Induction?) The recipe sites will help keep you from eating the same thing over and over -- check them out! If you need anything we’re here to help you!! Good luck.

| Hi Ian. If you are hungry, EAT! Just make sure it is from the allowed vegetables, meats, and fats. Fat especially will help satisfy your hunger. Also many times the body tells you it is hungry when what it really needs is more water so drink plenty of pure water. Welcome to ADBB. |
