| Welcome. One day at a time is the only way to go. Do move on to Ongoing Weight Loss once you finish induction and take your time on OWL because it will teach you what you need to know to successfully maintain your losses and keep your blood sugar under control. My MIL is pretty much in Atkins maintenance and her sugar levels are spot on. Wishing you success in your quest for health. |

| Welcome to the Atkins Board. I hope you already have the 2002 DANDR book and have read it, it is the edition we follow on this site. If not it's worth a few dollars to purchase. Drink a minimum 64 ounces of pure water daily, exercise and take a non-iron multivitamin. If you do something wrong don't worry about it - just don't continue to do it over and over...LOL! We're all here for the same reason - so come often and let us know how you are doing. There is a diabetic thread you can post on also. Don't forget to eat enough vegetables (check the acceptable food list (What foods can be eaten on Induction?)(What foods can be eaten on Induction?)http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-low-carb-dieting-faqs/6781-what-foods-can-eaten-induction.html) - 2 cups from the first list and 1 cup from the 2nd list daily.
