| That was a good article, Lynne. Since starting on this WOE I am sleeping better than I have in years. It still amazes me. No, haven't checked the thyroid yet. I have such a hangup about taking meds long-term. I want everything to be as sustainable and natural as possible. So far I am averaging around 5 pounds lost a month. That is not bad to me. I am not dead set again thyroid meds, but still want to see how I do without them for a while. |

| yep -- I agree with the article. I can't blame all my weight on prescription meds but they certainly make it harder, along with being older, to loose weight than ever before. I've been on high blood pressure meds for 5 years, I took anti-depressants which were like opening the weigh doors because I gained about 15 pounds but when I went off them some of the weight went away also....took meds to make me sleep which worked great but I don't take them any longer either. I'm really hoping to get off the medicines one day. I try to get to bed by 11:00 and to sleep by midnight most nights....but sometimes I don't hit those times. I get up in the morning between 7:00 and 7:30 and hit the floor running for the day.

| Great article Lynne! Thanks for posting it. I can relate to the menopause part because my shape definitely changed in the past 10 years. My hips and thighs didn't get smaller but the belly sure did, and now I know why! |
