Rep Points

I have received many nice comments on the 'Latest Reputation Received' section of my CP. I have tried many ways, but obviously have not located the proper way, to GIVE rep points. I have amassed 296 points, have posted 218 times and have three green squares. What is it based on? Do I need the secret handshake? Huh? Huh? What does it take? Sorry, I've been up since 1:30 am.

sunny, if you click on the scale icon in the upper right hand corner of someones username bar (for lack of a better explanation), a new little box will appear. you are provided a space to write your comment.

you would use the rep if you are impressed with the persons post, agree with the comments, congratulating them for a good thing. etc.

your total reps given are limited in amounts ie. you can only give a certain amount in a 24 hour period, you can only give to the same person within a certain time frame.

Go to your USER CP and look down near the bottom. Should be there for your viewing pleasure.

Giving rep points - I've tried clicking on the bar both in a message and the bar in the upper right corner of "view profile" and all I get is a description (like "Jimmie's Reputation is beyond reproach". What am I doing wrong?

You would give it at the post you liked. Like yours above I will click on the scale then type my rep

Does this help? This arrow is pointing to what you need to click, each individual post has one of those scales.
