| yep it is time to see how your meds are working. 6 weks is the time frame my doc recommends every time he makes a change and then a follow up 6 weeks later to be sure it is all good.

| My doctor told me I had an underactive thyroid and gave me a prescription for Synthroid (I got it in generic). He told me to come back in 3 months for a recheck to see how it was doing. I need to go back next month to have a recheck. I was on Atkins about a year ago and was doing pretty good but my doctor talked me out of it because he said it was too harsh. I'm back at square one and have gained more to boot. I tried the Cabbage Soup diet and lost a lot of water weight. I didn't weigh but my clothes were fitting a lot looser. I'm thinking about Atkins again, I lost about 12 pounds and was beginning to feel real good. Kit |
