If you read your DANDR DR Atkins has a chart which will tell you after you complete 14 days of clean induction eating along with the mandatory exercise part of the plan what your metabolic resistance is based on how much you needed to lose and how much you actually lost. if you fall in the metabolically resistant catagory he directs you to chapter 20 where he makes suggestions like getting your thyroid hormone levels checked and a few other things then after you have ruled out medical issues he directs the resistantr folk to the fat fast but without any promise of how many pounds they can lose in those few days.
