| Sorry to hear you are having surgery. I hope everything turns out okay. You can try eating mock mashed potatoes made out of cauliflower. The way my husband makes broccoli my daughter mushes it up too. Ask on the main forum and maybe more people can give you advice. Good luck, and best wishes Dawn |

| I had a subtotal thyroidectomy in 1998 (due to Graves Disease) .. I wasn't too hungry for awhile, but the recovery was pretty quick .. I don't recall having to eat soft foods for long .. Hope everything goes well for you! Betty
