thanks that is a very good organization and has been around for a long time. there are too many thyroid websites out there scaring the pants of those with hypothyroid saying they can't lose weight cause the are hypo which I can tell you isn't true i've lost being hypo on Atkins just fine once my thyroid hormone levels were back in the normal range.

Thanks for this informative link!! I have recently been diagnosed with hypothyroidism...but have not allowed them to prescribe me any medication yet. I may have to re-visit that decision.
