| Most should be able to lose weight if they are following Atkins' meal plan whether or not they take supplements. Supplements are just that...they supplement your new healthy way of eating and exercising. They help ensure that you get all the nutrients your body needs. It is not a magic bullet by any means. If you're not losing, have you posted a typical menu at the review my menu thread or entered your meals on fitday? Sometimes having someone else take a peek at what you're eating can help out! You've lost 42 pounds so far, so congratulations! And you've started in Feb, too! It could be that you're just stalled and your body just needs to adjust for a bit. How long has it been since you've lost any weight? |

| Thank you :<) I had my "official stall" in March..no loss there either..then I lost a few at the beginning of April (Lbs but no inches) and have sat still for weeks. I have upped my exercise..but no loss of inches....upped my water... *sigh* I know that 42+lbs is great, its just a Math game ya know? I"m creating a deficit in my body so why isnt the weight going?? Its not like I'm anywhere close to my goal? Just pondering what I could do to tweak things a bit :<)

| Well, what about your menu? Any carb creep going on there, whether knowing or unknowing? What about consumption of cheese, splenda, or caffeine? For some, these items can cause a stall. There are a few supplements that can help metabolize carbs, protein, and fat safely, but all avenues should be investigated into the possible cause. There's also the possibility of having issues with yeast. |
