| I have taken it off and on for several years. You definitely do not want to take too much as too much in your blood can cause hallucinations, especially as you try to sleep. Now that L-tryptophan is back on the market I would look into it over 5-HTP. What do you hope to gain by taking 5-HTP? Norm |

| That's good to know abouth the old L-Tryptophan... I liked that. I just bought some 5-HTP a few days ago, but haven't given a good eval yet (just once, night before last, with melatonin, to help counter my last round of boost-type supplements); will check your link first! (checking now)..... K... Nice to see you over there, LIR, guess I'll do 5-HTP again, same as before - the sleep was certainly better than last night's was, even tho my last booster round yesterday was earlier, and I over slept this morning (no 5-HTP last night). Yesterday morning (5-HTP night before with melatonin) was up on time bright eyed and bushy tailed.
