| You aren't ingesting 'rice.' The rice protein thingie would mean protein removed from rice. Protein is our friend, you are good. All the things ending in 'ase' are just enzymes. No worries there. But good on ya for reading labels!

| I wouldn't worry about that complex stalling you. Enzymes are a special type of protein, so don't let those -ases scare you off. In fact, amlyase is an enzyme we have in our mouths to start the breakdown of starches. An like mom said, the rice protein-calcium complex is just letting folks know it's from rice and not from some other source....mostly for those wishing to get veggie ingredients instead of meat sources. |
